Wanting to go to the 159 16" wide track, as the turbo is on its way. Will it fit, going to replace the tunnel ext and drop brackets. If not thinking of going to the 162 15" instead but don't like the idea of running a 7 tooth driver Thanks

I would also like to know if anyone has put the 16" wide track in the stock tunnel and how they did it. I would rather go 151 x 16 then 159 x 16. Any info would be great.

Why would ya run 7's with a 162 the clearance is there with the 8's just put some anti ratchets on and go need the part number for the diff pitch driver?

From what Mac at Mountain Performance told me that the 7 tooth drivers are bigger than the 8 tooth drivers, and the 162 track has 2.25 lugs on it so it will just clear.

Thats new to me never heard of 7's being bigger seen lots of RX-1's with 2.25 on with 8's on you can run 9's with the 2 inch thats on now!

The 7 tooth is for the 3" track, the 8 tooth is for the old 2.52". I just can't stand the idea of putting cat parts on my sled, skidoo is okay as I have a hm to later

The 16" does fit in my new CBS tunnel, but is very close to the chaincase bolts. The rear drop brackets are different on this tunnel so there is room there.

7 tooth 3.00" pitch drivers will be larger than 8 tooth 2.52 pitch because of the math- 7x3.00"=21.0", 8x2.52"=20.16" circumference.

According to the Wahl Bros. catalog drive sprocket sizes are as follows: 3" pitch 7T 6.5" diameter, 3" pitch 8T 7.5" diameter. 2.52" pitch 8T 6.2" diameter, 2.52" pitch 9T 7.07" diameter RX FUN
