16 xtx le. Rear evol will hit idler!!

You forgot the engine switch TD! At this rate we may get ATV's instead of sleds next year!

I checked my rear skid shock and it is damaged. Cap is worn off and hard to remove. Evol chamber is almost worn through. Not impressed at all. Contacted dealer and of course their response is to remove the wheels as you don't need them. I said "If you don't need them then why are they there?". The xtx has a difficult time to put snow up in the skid as it is. Very little lube for the slides and now they want you to remove wheels! Not good. How would I go about upgrading to the Hygear fix in Canada?

Well here is what I did. I talked to Yamaha and there solution is to remove both wheels and they thoughtfully gave me four pushpins, with instructions on how to insert them, into the holes left when you remove the boggie wheel block. After observing the massive amount of engineering that they put into this solution I called Hygear and ordered the offset cup. I had it shipped via postage to me and then took my shock and the new cup into a motorsports shop and within an hour it was ready to put back onto my machine. Part was about 110 Canadian when all was said and done and $40 to change it.

I agree that they need to have these wheels in place.

I have approx 700 mi on my Hygear prolink and evol chamber relocate. Can't say enuff good things about it!! Handles fantastic and can take anything you throw at it. Just make sure to put the skid in the bottom hole up front and middle hole in the back. Otherwise the track will rub up front

My thoughts exactly. I just am not sure where I could get the cup installed here in New Brunswick or where to send it.

I waiting on my hygear have 600km on the sled without the wheels and the slides need to be replaced.

You can send it to Hygear and they can replace it for you. All the guys there are great to deal with. They ship to Canada

Well have order it here in Sweden gonna get it this week
