Definitely a bold statement. We all take inspiration from others, but stealing implies willful theft of the intellectual property of another company and I haven't read anything that shows this. I think that it is fair to say that Yamaha snowmobile engineers would be well served by more creativity and larger budgets. It seems to me that they've been only halfway committed to the snowmobile division for most of the 2000's. I think that this may be changing and the arctic cat chassis bought them time to reinvest in this division. Regarding the shock blunder, I bet someone got a stern talking to at Yamaha for this blunder!Ummm......Yamaha never built a competitive chassis. The early SRX they stole from Sno-Jet and the Phazer they stole from a Canada company went broke a decade before. I am in no hurry for them to try to build there own chassis again![]()
