I've seen the FAQ page on the steering slop. I've tightened my steering a few times now, only 3,000 miles on my machine. I am trying to tighten it again, but the nut keeps spinning. Maybe i'm just using the wrong socket? What size are people using? Also, is it advisable to take the nut all the way off to put locktite? I just didn't want to take the nut off it if something crazy was going to happen. Thanks! This is my first post, but I'm a long time reader.

I haven’t needed to tighten the nut on my sled, but yes, I know my friends have taken the nut all the way off and lock tighted the nut on their 2014 vipers. Also, a steering post bushing kit from OFT takes slot of the upper slop out of the steering. I have one and it was money well spent. I think other aftermarket shops sell them too but I got mine here. I also here the AC MTX steering block is more robust, that may be a less expensive option.
