I have been having issues with not getting full rpm. Clutching is all stock set for 5000-7000’
Primary
8KC-OO weights ( A,A,D rivets)
G-R-G primary spring
Secondary
Yellow spring
last ride it was spring snow so bit on the heavy side riding close to 7000’. I could only get 7400 rpm out of it.
I did change the tip weight from 0.85 g aluminum to 3.1 g steel rivet as per the chart.
Having a look tonight I seen one of the primary rollers was stuck..bushing was pushed out to far on one end. Outside of the Primary spring is rubbing on the cover and clutch side. Secondary rollers have flat spots. Sled has 650 miles on it.
The bushing was a easy fix
secondary rollers ...is there a updated roller yet?
Primary spring rubbing has me concerned...never seen this before.

Hey Turblue!! I had the inserts on my primary rollers sticking out abit. Enough to stop the roller from rolling. Knocked them back into place but i think in the off season here i'm going to get thunder products primary rollers for my winder.
My secondary rollers flattened on me and blew through 3 belts in march before i seen what was happening!!
I purchased secondary rollers from HI-TORQUE ROLLERS out of Creston B.C. Was able to do a short test on them at the end of march then snow was gone.
Look and feel promising!!!

Curious what the difference is between the silver orange silver primary spring the new sleds come with compared to the gold red gold? I couldn’t find the specs on the silver one.

Thats odd, my book doesnt list all the specs on that particular one either. I have a preload spec of 60kg and spring rate of 1.00kg/mm on the silver/orange/silver compared to 55kg and 1.5kg/mm on the gold/red/gold

They are great. I put them on last year. My stock rollers were wearing out every 300 km and then I put these on and they show no signs of wear after 900 km
