Wish I had my sidewinder,ha ha the trails in northern maine right now are awesome, boys went up thursaday evening and did 70 that evening, next morning in 6-7" of fresh coming down, did 170 than this morning from 8am to noon did a perfect 170,trails were all groomed up from last night, but by 10 am trails were getting crowded and dangerous, time to depart and finally put them away for the season.

Even the trail master is surprised how good the trails are considering how crappy the season was. SNOWBEAST we should hook up in Maine with our new Winders next year. We have a house in Millinocket.

Right in the center of "The County" trail systems, which are by far the best Maine has to offer, so many choices, so many directions and destinations, Van Buren, Madawaska, Limestone, Grand Isle, etc etc!
That's the way to call an end to it Huh? Yet 1 hour South and it's all gone.

Good for you guys, I am envious while at home watching the grass start to turn green.
Can't wait for next season, gonna be a long Summer and Fall

Perfect. I can be there in about 30 to 40 minutes depending how hard i have to push the doo & poo boys. We do 250 to 350 mile loops including one trip ALL the way around Maine if there's enough snow. We can compare new 'Winders

Good to hear your still riding! My apex is down to trask performance getting the front exchanger replaced or I would still be riding too! Tough year I only had 1100 miles or so. I rode Fort Kent area 3 weeks ago and it sure was great! Post the vid !

I rode there 3 wks ago as well. It was great. Nobody around here (Lincoln county) believed how good the trails were till I showed em pics.

You guys are so lucky only 60 miles this year. Worst I have seen in my 26 years of snowmobiling.

Do you think they will still be good next weekend ?

Glad to hear there is still some snow left for you hardcores, one of these days I'm going to do a backpack trip up around the County. Only 730 mi. this year and fortunate to do that, usually do 2K. I have a camp in Brownville and don't like to trailer so season was over a month ago. On the fence whether to spring order a Winder, so damn expensive and worried about the weight and how the suspension stacks up against my rMotion.

Yes,unless we get a ton of rain, and warm temps,it has been like two different states this year, way up north has been the place to ride, after the western mts. got hammered out with rain, seems the st. John valley got snow when we all got rain, check out russells cam or caribou cabins cam, that will tell you a lot,and if not give them a call, gary's Yamaha will be a good bet,for the most updated snow conditions, for his area, and if you get up there by this Tuesday, you may get to ride a sidewinder!!!

Weight wise my bet fully loaded may be right around #630 lbs handling and ride will depend on shocks,if you go with the premium shocks a lot of us are going with I think you will love it. LTX-LE all the way for me.
