Got a chance to look over the brochures i grabbed at the show. I see a few extra items on the 18s that I was not sure if they were "accessories" on the show sleds or not. But it seems after reading, these items come on spring order sleds for 2018. I thought it may just be the 50th sleds that get these extras, but it does look like even models without the 50th badging also get these goodies. Here is the sheet they gave out at the Barrie Ontario show. Can you guys south of the border(US) let me know if this is same deal down south? I'm assuming it is.
I'm interested to see what the "race brake lever" is all about, I had planned to buy a Tcat lever and I'm wondering if this is the same?
Heated shield plugin on dash will be one less thing I need to add....nice.
And other items, pic below.
thnx
Dan

Dan I have the same brochure that I got from the demo ride a few weeks back in Munising MI. It has all the goodies in the states as well.

That is the same list as here in the states. But it only covers Le models. So from what I'm told a spring order se doesn't apply

As in the past just be aware that Yamaha can switch what they've advertised for spring order just before release as what happened with The 17s ie Suspension upgrades

The only thing I see that is different is the race brake lever Dan and the heated visor outlet. Mine has the 12 volt accessory plug maybe the heated visor plug took its place? Mine also came with Pilot 6.9 skis and ice attack track...oh wait no I put those on it.

Sleds at the show had both the visor plug on the dash and the 12v accessory plug. I didn't notice any difference with the brake lever. I like how the red and white sled has red spindles over the white ones on the 17's.The only thing I see that is different is the race brake lever Dan and the heated visor outlet. don't count on yamaha coming through with the extras...I'm still waiting for my proper fitting jacket and goggle bag came in 2 weeks ago

You CDN buyers got screwed with the jacket. Mine is awesome and I wear it riding as a second layer under my Klim jacket. I didn't think anything of the free jacket before I got it but now I'm very pleased with it and I find it's one of the best free things I've got with any of these sleds in years. I've used the jacket all season and I've never used any of the extended warranty I had all the years I've got it for free. That goggle bag is useless especially since I've been told not to use it because it keeps too much under hood heat trapped in under it.Did you also have the wrong size written in pen on the jacket lol

On the CDN jacket it doesn't breath well. Also the inside of the jacket fiber leaves specs all over the shirt I am wearing underneath so I only wore it once,
On the graphics I like the words Turbo Sidewinder and Yamaha but '4stroke' in large lettering is lame and should be more subtle as its a given. I would have rather recieved a simple fleece lined light jacket or Even a hat or Tshirt
and call it a day. The best I ever had was the Mach Z leather, at the time I thought it was awesome streetwear.

Its very obvious the CDN jacket is nothing like the US jacket. You guys may have great trails but we have better SW jackets! LOL!On the CDN jacket it doesn't breath well. Also the inside of the jacket fiber leaves specs all over the shirt I am wearing underneath so I only wore it once,

They all come with the +12v "cigar" plug on left side of Gauge...the sleds at show have the heated shield plug right dead center lower dash beside the Heated seat switch. I took some pics at show, see below. The white panels are going to make my OCD go into overdrive. LOLThe only thing I see that is different is the race brake lever Dan and the heated visor outlet.
