2-stroke nytro mountain

Its not the exhaust that is the problem, its the intake, and the intake is in the crankcase.. so will not help just to turn the cyl and pistons,
I will do some measurements this weekend to se where exakt the engine will fit best.. Dont want the primary clutch hit the ground when the suspension goes flat out  more pictures after the weekend

What will you be using for an intake? It would be cool to make in in similar design to the new cats where the intake comes from around the gauge. That way when in deep powder the intake will easily be able to get air.

Hello...
I did some measurements today, I may have the carb´s in standard possition if I move up the engine a bit. But i need to cut the old engine bracket in the left side to fit the carb´s..
The front engine bracket is probobly not a problem to fix.. but in the back is the cooler that causes problems. My idea is to weld a brace from one side to the other under the engine where the subframe is attached to the middle section of the chassie and then on that mont the engine.. any ideas about that???

Cool project. Me and my dad is also building a SX Nytro, A engine from a sxr redtop 700. We are almost done. We test started it today.

Ok, have not done anything more, took it out today from the container and mont the front end.

we have been busy with competitions in the winter but I'll start with the now

Do you have Pictures of the built somewhere?

In the end this sled will be lighter than a stock Nytro. I don't understand why some don't think its a good idea? If you want a 2-stroke Yamaha in a rider forward chassis, this is a way to do it. Another way is to install a Yamaha tripple into a Rev chassis. Jimmy Blaze had one and it was shown in a video or two.

You might think about a single pipe as the Nytro does not have much room under the cowling. It would be easier to tune and day to day runnability will be better.

And more important than being lighter the weight will be much lower than a Nytro. I have a donor Mountain Max sitting in the back and am considering this same project to get the low weght like the Phazer has.

Oh the Max and Nytro are fairly close to the same weight and you DON'T want to try to match a Nytro to the max in a drag race........... 700 triple CAN put out great torque when tuned for it.

PLEASE tell us how this handles when finished.

Just got some few pictures on the mobile.

Ja de är Patricks pojk. Hur känner du farsan?

A uppdate, The Engine is in the chassi, Im going to make a Engine stop ( Engine support? ) The next step is to start with the 3 pipes...
