Anyone able to add a 2up seat to a sidewinder?? Considering the SRX version but would like to take my wife out one in a while...

Yes ... kimpex seat jack .. easy install easy on and off

Glad to know there is an option out there..thanks. Any idea if the Yamaha 2up seat for viper would fit on a sidewinder? Didn't say it would on Yamaha web site

Just buy two and you won't have to spend all that money on a two up seat.

You would need a new bumper for the viper seat to work. The seat jack works much better IMO.

I have a cat kit that I modified so you do not have to replace the whole bumper. Will likely be selling as I only need 1 2up kit next year. If you did want to replace the bumper I believe I have the correct one, it’s not that big of a job.

What is a 2 up? is that a double decker beer coosy? Have a seat jack for my nytro xtx, and have used a few times with springs turned up. works great, but best left to short missions. My wife and I usually rode separate with her on an apex, me on nytro, but as getting older etc. would wear her down 50 or 100 miles and she would lay in the snow and wait for a helicopter to come get her and take her to camp. talked for a few years about getting a new vector. I knew it didn't sound right and bought the winder instead. I run it a lot, but for long hauls, she uses it and I go back to the nytro, which I love as much as the winder. we did a 200 mile day and she was right there trying to push me out of the way.
I would have to believe switching to a true 2 up machine would cut speeds in half. the seat jack was fun in a straight line. almost had better times with her sitting on the muffler, which has been known to happen often, doing some pretty stupid #*$&@. a real trooper
