I have a STX-DX 137" Sidewinder and I guess that model has the "Modular Rear Bumper" not sure what the bumper differences are as compared to the other model for they look the same to me. Anybody know? I looking for two up seat and luggage option that fit this machine. Pictures would be great. The stock saddle bags are small for my liking.
Thanks in advance!

That appears to be another change from the spring spec sheets and the actual production models. The modular bumper is steel and has a series of holes in the top edge spaced to accept a bunch of different Cat accessories, including racks, two up seat, bags etc. Check out the Arctic accessory catalogue. Evidently Yamaha didn't want to carry the Cat stuff so the bumper does not come standard. The Cat one will fit however(these sleds are Cats after all) so you can get all the stuff you want from them.

The SkiDoo system is so nice. I'm leaning towards the Kimpex. I like the Rototeck Titan but it just looks too big

Are you saying the STX-DX does not have a modular bumper?

That is correct. The two that I saw at Pat's in Greenland Mi. last week did not have the modular bumper.

I have installed a Seat Jack on my LTX-LE. I was shorted (or lost in my garage mayhem) the bolts to hold the arms on so I am not fully complete with the install but I have some install tips.
The Seat Jack is really nice. The electric handgrips are really cool and have a heated shield jack as well. I would like more of a guard for warmth and will figure something out for that. The 4 mounting posts are pretty cool. I have one that is slightly loose but I will be checking that. Since there have been some bent BTX tunnels I added my own reinforcing for the front mount via a plate like a skid mounting reinforcement. The weight is well centered on the rear of the actual sled seat and more or less directly over the rear running board attachment to the tunnel. The kit includes rear post mounting reinforcement plates that tie into the bumper with rivets. The included rivets are raw but I have ordered a box of black rivets from Amazon and for the black tunnel IMO that looks much better - have some black rivets on hand.
My progress was interrupted by work after only having the rear mounts on the rear of the tunnel. When I came back I noticed the factory graphic stickers tweaked from torqueing the mounts down. I used a razor knife and carefully removed the graphics from the tunnel for the small rectangle of the mounting shim.
I have the Up North Pro-Series rack to mount next and I believe its design will actually add support to the tunnel. I am keeping the factory bag behind the seat so I am modifying the rack shorter to allow access to the tools. I have multiple electrical connections to make but Im trying get everything fabricated before finalizing that. The Up-North and the Seat Jack fit well on the sled together and have a virtually exact matching finish. The rack will have a Rotopax mount and I might put a single Linq set towards the rear - undecided. I only carry 1 gallon and won't be carrying more than the next size up 1.75 gal I think.
There is a ton of room on the sled with the seat on. I would say you could mount it closer to the bars but not by much given the geometry of the mounting brackets that peak to clear the rear tunnel mount.
Last tip, Use tape to mask off areas to keep drilling debris out of nooks and crannies of the sled running boards and bumper.

any pics of the reinforcement you added? I am thinking about purchasing this seat for taking my daughter out for rides.

I cut my Up North rack to size. Probably won't carry gas when riding 2 up.

My daughter is tall for 9 and her feet do not touch the running boards so you might want to add foot supports.
