I was riding my 2003 rx1 today and after I got a few miles down the trail the sled started cutting in and out. The sled finally lost power to the dash along with the motor and killed the snowmobile! I then tried to start it and all I am getting is a click at the starter! Any suggestions on what could be wrong? I checked the battery and it’s good, along with the fuses!

I believe I remember reading on here some starters stayed engaged and melted down. Could be something to look at. Can you spin the engine over by hand with the primary clutch? Make sure you didn't have a internal engine failure.

i would charge up the battery and check it 1st as if it is dead, the sled will die like that as well.

starter is piled up then. i do reccomend doing the solenoid while you have it apart as it usually fails not too long after.
