2005 Ti Exhaust "System" or just headers?

I have been getting conflicting information on this....anyone know for sure?
The website says this...

"a titanium exhaust system"

"Exhaust 2 Valves, Titanium Exhaust Pipes, Rear Exit "

"Exclusive titanium exhaust pipes"

"New!! Titanium exhaust pipes save weight."

My question is this....is it the headers coming off the engine only, the headers and pipes or the entire system all the way back to the muffler?

This is by no means an answer to the question, but on snowmobiles, most people are familiar with describing the entire exhaust system as "pipes".

My point exactly LB! But everyone I talk to who is in the "know" says it's only the headers that are Titanium..(the 4 pipes coming off the block that merge into 2) The pipes connect to these and run back (hence 4 into 2)....The HEADER to me is different than PIPES. I consider the "PIPES" from the header back to the muffler..... :roll: :itchy:

I think it is just the headers.One of the snow mags showed a picture of all the light weight parts and that is what it showed for the exhaust just the headers.Hope this helps.

it is just the "headers" that are Ti. from the motor to the split under the gas tank. The actual muffler is the same as last year

I spoke with Yamaha on this and it is only the headers that are TI. Rocket....my god man that is one ugly pic.
