Hello, i took apart a 2005 vector engine, the lady i bought the sled from said the tech said a bad crank bearing. I took it apart down to the crank only to discover no issues with the crank or crank bearings. I think it was misdiagnosed and probably jumped timing. I want to build the engine back up for experience. My question is, would you rebuild an engine back up with the original crankcase bolts? Or should I get new ones?
I don't know what my goal is for the engine, maybe to have as backup or make an engine run stand with.
Thanks

The only bolts or studs I would consider replacing is on the heads. The rest of them you should use the same bolts and follow the specs for torque on the application of each of them.
