Engine repair advice needed.

Have an 05 Vector with some major engine damge due to an oil leak fron the oil filter. It will need 1 connecting rod and a crankshaft. Just wondering if anyone has an engine for sale cheep. Also about the crank, can 1 of these be machined, or is there anywhere I can buy a crank already rebuilt.

There is a Vector wreck in the classifieds, might be your ticket. Nice 2005 with low miles for $3500 too. If you could get $2000 for your parted-out sled another $1500 for a good condition Vec might be as cheap as a new lower end. Just some ideas for you! Good luck whatever you decide to do!
