2006 Apex battery jump start leads

Probably a basic question for some out there. I just purchased a battery tender and want to hook it up by using the quick connects. Where are the jump start connects on the Apex? I was told I could hook the quick connects to the jump start wires. Are they colour coded to distingish between positive and ground? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Under the right side panel, just above the oil tank.Positive lead is red, negative black. They are retained by a plastic clip.
