2006 Apex Motor vs 2014 Apex motor

i currently have a 2006 Apex turbo. Bought a crashed 2014 for parts. How different are the motors.? What from the 2014 engine could be used if a major engine failure occurred with the 2006.? Block , head, crank , rods etc. Thanks

I think everything is the same except there is some talk that the rods and pistons are not as robust on the 11+ motors. Not sure if they changed any cam timing or cam shafts to account for the EXUP. Also the ECU is not compatible.

Is the hood good and side panals if so would you be intersed in selling them plus upper airbox lid
