Had it running yesterday warmed up good and changed the oil then adjusted the track. Today went to load into the trailer and it won't start. When I crank it (lots of battery), the engine just pops intermittingly like popcorn. Any ideas? Fuel pump runs when I turn the key...

Do you know where I can bypass the tors? Did it on my 02 Viper once but never on this sled.

also yesterday before I shut it off it was "hesitating" when I hit the throttle a little, like it wasn't running real good (but it was warmed up).

Bypassing the TORS was really simple on my old two stroke Yamaha's. It was a male and female bullet connector at the carbs that you would connect together. Not sure on the four strokes as I have never had to do it.
However if it will not start or idle at all then it may not be the TORS as my recollection was that it only caused problems when you pushed the throttle. Does it start and idle fine and hessitate when pushing the throttle?
I would start with the simple stuff first. Siphon out the old gas and put fresh gas in. If that doesn't help then check your spark plugs to see if they are fouled.

Yes that's what it did yesterday. It would hesitate and then when I gave it more throttle it would run.

First place to always start with these is the plugs. All it takes is not warming up completely one time and the plugs foul. It could have been three starts ago and they been dirty ever since.

I agree.....both apex and attack did the same thing. Change your plugs and when you start it up be sure it's nice and warm before you shut it down. For same reason these sleds are real tempermental when it comes to warming them up.

checked (new) plugs that were installed 1 month ago, no start, no fire now.
installed original plugs back into sled, no fire, just cranks and cranks.
????????????????
Not showing any codes but -- is this automatic or do I have to do something to check for codes?

Mine has Engine Light and flashing triangle while trying to start today, just cranks, pump seems to work. No Codes. WTF!!!!
I feel for you THKSNOW, this sucks. My wife's started fine today, but mine just cranks. Changed battery, no difference.... just cranks.
I hate electrical issues... I would also like to know where to find fault codes. Is this the same as #60 in DIAGNOSTIC????

When you hit the key to "on" do you hear the fuel pump cycle and pressurize the fuel rail?
Can you visually confirm spark at the plugs?

YES

How? Do you pull out a plug and then put it in that long black tube, connect the tube wire and then lay it on the head and turn the key?

Yes try doing that. You could pull one plug, attach the coil pack (that long black tube) with the plug grounded to the head. You should see a nice bright blue spark just like you'd expect with a good plug.
