My Vector's mono-shock suspension is too soft, as I weigh about #260 and would like to stiffen it up. Is there a heavier spring (fat boy spring) available to replace/upgrade on the original stock shock? Also, when on rough trails, she likes to "buck" and easily bottoms-out. Could it be that my shock is blown? Sled has 5k miles and was new to me 2 seasons ago.
Mildly aggressive trail rider with 10% rough trails, mostly smooth otherwise.
Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

The stock spring would be too soft. We offer progressive rate big boy springs for $160. We start the spring at a stock rate and transition it to a firmer big boy rate. Check out our website for more info. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to purchase one.

Hi & thank you! I checked your website and didn't see a big boy spring for my 2006 RS Vector GT???
Can you confirm that you do have them in stock for my make & model year?
Thanks, I await your reply.

They are listed as "multi rate big boy spring" in the menu.

There are only springs listed for 08-15 Vector's your website (nothing for 2006 RS Vector GT) that I can see...They are listed as "multi rate big boy spring" in the menu.

Looks like you found a typo! It should read 06-15 for the vector. Sorry for the confusion. Send me a pm with a phone number and I will call you Monday to discuss. There are only springs listed for 08-15 Vector's your website (nothing for 2006 RS Vector GT) that I can see...

How long does it take to change the spring?

To change out the spring the shock must be removed from the sled. Once the shock is out, the spring can be switched in a matter of minutes.
