I have a 2007 Apex Rtx, I had 1200 miles when I had the limiter straps replaced under warranty, one was tearing. I now have 1500 miles on it and one limiter strap has broke. Any suggestions on what to adjust / fix to help with the limiter straps?
If you search deeper into these posts you'll find this subject brought up before. I had the same problem as you and many others. I seems shortening the limiter helps with hard rebound effect on strap, wich frays them prematurely. I shortened mine just for the handling improvement more than anything , the extended limiter life was just a bonus. I've had mine on now for over 1500 miles and no sign of wear. I've got mine set one hole from top last hole on limiter strap.You'll get a little more hyfax wear on the rear but well worth it. Good luck.

mine were junk too. Made a replacement out of an old belt. 2000 miles and no problems at all!

If you tighten the limiter straps it will stop them from snapping. Mine broke withing 600 miles and when I replaced them I pulled them up 2 holes and now I have 6000 miles and they're still perfect. From the factory they are too loose and slack gets worked right at the washers and they cut the straps.
