Hi all,my grandson has a 2007 apex er,wheels all shot, when I looked up 2006-2009 all wheels for those models are twice as pricy as the 2010 models. Also under the 2007 track 1 pic and track 2 pics on babbitts website, they show two completely different ways to mount these wheels. What gives, heck I don't even know which track view I need, one or two from there site. Any help would be nice. Thanks Pete

Pete: I believe the 2010 has the Mono-2 suspension and has a different skid rail design, and a different wheel mount that is designed for two bolts vs just the single long bolt through the wheel assy. That being said, the wheels are common for both, and will work fine on the 2007, the newer spoked wheel with the replaceable bearing is what I used exclusively on my Apex'. Look at Track 1 view for this.
Most dealers stock the spoked idler wheels.
If you are replacing all the idler wheels, Excell wheels are great suggestion from TOMBOB too, this wheel is slightly larger in diameter and helps with slide wear and reduces rolling resistance.
On my Apex mono-2, I had a Pioneer hyfax extender wheel mount kit that offset the wheel locations downward by 2.5mm, basically doing the same thing as a 5mm larger OD wheel like the Excell. (Pioneer kit is FS, pm if anyone is interested)

I have new wheels for $22 each. Also have a bunch of good used 10 style wheels here for $10 each. All have replaceable bearings.

Zero seat time so far, it was a year end dealer demo unit. Loved the Apex' for years, but felt it was time for a change, hope I am not disappointed, time will tell after the Jan 17 trip on the maiden voyage!
