Got it all back together! Big thanks to Apexallday! Used Motobatt MBTX20u which is 310 cca. The local battery place had it in stock and recommended it over the Yuasa battery. Supposed to be the exact same size as the Yuasa AGM 310cca. It had really good reviews on line, so I decided to try it. I had to struggle with getting it in the battery case, but in the end I won.

I did learn that mirrors prevent the headlight assembly from easily sliding off, after 45 minutes of cursing. The toughest part was getting the windshield/cowling pieces all back together again after I had to take them off to get around the mirror, but seemingly no mishaps!.
We will see how it works and let everyone know.
