Hey guys,
I have a 2007 Attak and I ride very aggressively, not much jumping but very fast no matter how bumpy it gets.
For a little while now I have noticed coolant dropping from the running board cooler. I have taken them off several times now, and there is a usually a crack on the back side of the 90. I am thinking this is caused by running board flex in the big bumps and it is causing the coolers to flex and crack.
It happened again a couple days ago, I have since brought them to an aluminum welder to have them fixed up.. However I feel this is again only going to be a temporary fix... I am going to order the tunnel reinforcements from the 2011 Apex and I think that may help.
My question is if anyone has ever heard of this problem and know of a permanent fix?
I'm really hoping this weld job and the tunnel reinforcements will do the trick but any other help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

Had the same problem. I JB welded mine and its holding. What I did was stick some foam tape between the suspension mount and the cooler. Seems to have given it some padding. Got over 4,000 miles and no leaks...

We took the coolers off and brought them to the welder... He welded and it leaked... we brought it back to him... he welded and it leaked.. I put some JB Weld on it and some water weld... It has a very slow weeping leak now. Nothing is dripping, yet.
Thats a good idea with the foam. I will try that.
