Hey folks
Lost my reverse last year, ripped gearbox apart, what a job, and four d broken chain. Everything was ordered and gearbox is back together, bit cant seem to insert back into place. Housing hits engine block, and book says it should easily rotate back in, looking for help or video. Thanks in advance.

I repaired mine in 08. I remember having trouble getting it out but when reinstalling it slid in without any effort. I can't remember exactly what I did though. When you do get it in place make sure that you line up the oil tube to the chain case properly. This oil tube is what causes the transmission to fail if not lined up.
