new to the forum..
having issues with the elect system. fuel pump would come on, found the relay..cracked. .. checked voltage on the coil side: turned key on-got almost 7v ..then it jumps to 12v, still wont pick up the coil, jumpered to ground, contacts close. 12v at contacts, jumpered to get the fuel pump to come on, no go.. checed voltage at pump, about 8-9v. could all this be agrounding issue? (i am an electrician and know grounds play havoc)..checked chasis ground to battery...about 3ohms...and y does the voltage on the coil go from 6.78v to 12v? sujestions?
and where is this grounding block?
