2008 fx nytro has issues

My buddy has 08 fx nytro and we took the rear out to put on new sliders and after we got iot back together we are getting code 84.We tested what the manual said and we finally got it cleared when we played with the throttle cable.Turns out he had 3" risers on stock sled and it stretched the cable.SO we ordered the mtx cable.Has anyone seen or heard of this before ?

Also we replaced all 4 of the exhaust donuts and sled still sounds alot louder than my nytro.Is there anything else that wears out on the exhaust ?

This sled is stock and ran great till this happened...

You got that 4th exhaust donut in upside down and backwards.......Just kidding! Does he have a cracked header or flex pipe?

My guess is a cracked flex pipe.

Check head pipe. Mine cracked on bottom where the three pipes come into one.

Are these pipes stainless ?

Head pipe i believe is titanium. at least thats the beat on the street. i never attempted to weld it up at the shop, i just bought an aftermarket one...

OK so here are some pics of the cause of the loud sled..the bracket on the header pipe was broken and left a pretty good hole in the center pipe.We removed bracket and welded it up.Put it back in and the sled is quiet once again..
