2008 Northern Ny ride?

Although I only got to ride two days because of my work schedule, I did manage to put on 342 miles on those two days, plus I rode another 112 miles today. Trails were excellent today. I will be putting a post on soon about our second NY TY ride coming up in late February, Good riding with you, Dave, Steve, Mark and Scott. Honk, keep me updated on how your wife is doing. I will be praying for a fast recovery. :yam:

Ditto on the sentiment for Mark's wife. Hope everything turns out for the best.

Ya Honk, keep us informed on the wife for sure. Just got home from two more days riding with Tim. Another 270 miles. Yesterday the trails from Altmar through Pulaski towards Winona state forest SUCKED BIG TIME! HUGE WATER HOLES AND NO GROOMING ANYPLACE. Once in the state forest the 3' of fresh powder was awesome. We were back by Cedar Pines again today so we did the Yamaha demo rides(ride was longer this time). Look forward to the ride end of February and seeing everyone again.
Oh ya, talked to my dealer last night and he said the bad bearing and speedo sensor will be covered under warranty. Just bring in the receipt and he'll take care of me :yam: :yam: :yam: :yam: :yam: :yam: :yam:

WoW, I finally made it home to western ny. Great to ride with ya all again, hope to do it again later this year. Maybe my wife can make it without me for the week this time? I didn't really understand how bad the wife was. She was in the critical care unit untill last Sunday, with two days in the regular cardiac unit. Brought her home today, and all seems well! There was alot of extra fluid around her heart and lungs, pressing on them. it caused some damage to the heart itself, but they think it will come back to normal. They claim anyone can get this. Its like a cold around these organs, making the lungs and heart function wrong. She will be on light duty for a couple months, hope she contines to improve! Thanks for the thoughts, and prayers!!! I'm sure they were well received!! Honk

Hey Phaz500, I did not know you were getting cold? I would have thought the speed we were going would have kept you warmed right up. Did ya ever try the bigger shield?
The wife is feelin MUCH better now! Thanks for the kind words! Honk

Honk,It was the cold snow dust I was riding thru. I usually lead the pack ,but seeing I havent ridden up there in 15 years, I would follow behind/
Once I got cold it was COLD~~~
Glad to hear your wife is doing better.
Lets ride again

Phaz, do you think it is the sled and can the big shield make it better? My kid wants one, and I may have to get one, I told her last year if she got on the high honor roll she would get one, well now it looks like I have to eat my words! shes there. thanks for any info. Honk
