2008 NY TY RIDE #2. 2/27-3/1/2008

No, not this ride unfortunatly, Was thinking about it but work has me busy at the moment. I don't even have a trail pass or anything. How is that 11mm sway bar and springs working for ya? (hint! hint!)I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm around lurking and wanted to bust honks butt!! sorry to hear about his wife I hope she's doing better?

Holy Macral batman, it's HRD!! Come on HRD, you can make it!! We can play nice, can't we??? Maybe we can share some Chowda? Come on out to play, the snows great!! Guys,Thanks for all the kind words about my wife! She is still recouping. They did go in and drain the fluid around her heart, and lungs. The doctors were wondering why this is happening more and more. Since this has happened, I have heard of three other cases just the same. They claim it can happen to anyone, at anytime! The biggy is they have no cure, because it is viral. She sure is sick of being sick! Anyway, thanks alot guys, and well see ya Weds mornin.

I don't think I can play nice, It's hard to forget my little 700 two smoke smoking you across the lake and you know what I'm talking about? just kidding can't make this one but next year you will be seeing two hrd's and I must behave when he is with me no matter what, it will kill me but will enjoy every minute of it. I know what your going to come back with when larry & honkie were adjusting his 136 expert x to full transfer & got us by a nose in 200' you guys were so happy I love that stuff. You take care of your wife and I hope for the best for her.

Boomer my (hint! hint!) was I have an rx1 and was wondering if those few changes helped in tippy problem? For the price I was thinking on longer links as well. Still have my viper she's purrring like a kitten thats yamaha for ya! Have a good ride. Honk you only chimed in once man I was hoping to smack talk with YOU more, be safe out there wednesday.

HRD - If I were to do it over, I'd go with the 13mm bar, only so I could corner even flatter. As it is though, I'm happy with it. I didn't do the longer links yet, but probably will get them this off season. The changes I've made to the sled have made it nothing like the stocker when I first got it. The Apex seat is the best thing I've done for riding comfort though.

We sure will miss you on the ride, but look forward to seeing you and little HRD next year.

Come on Hard, you always said that the one ton was to slow to own! Now you own one? whats up with that? I still recall Larrys fast Warrior goin by all the two smokes, and four bangers, regardless of the competition! Only one I saw beat it was Powerhaulics turbo, so Most saw it the same! Some saw it a little different. You chose which one you want to remember. So come on up and ride already, would ya? see ya! Honk

I can't believe that HRD is alive and kicking. Come on HRD, join us for a couple days. Dana and his cousin are registering there sleds when they come out Wed evening, you can do the same. Would love to have you ride with us. The count for each day to how many are riding is as follows, Wed=6, Thurs.=10, Fri= 8, Sat=6. Sould have fresh snow from Tuesday storm for our rides. See you soon.

Im definitly coming all 4 days. Wondering what time do we get back to the alley. Im going to drive back and forth to home each night. BBW do you know where we are heading on what days.

Rattler, Great to have ya on board! Welcome! How far is home? We usally get back anywhere from 6pm to 9pm i guess? Come on Hrd, you can do it, lets go. I'll bet you are thin on miles this year too! Been a thin snow year for WNY forsure. See Weds mornin

Rattler, I'm not sure where we are riding each day. It depends on the weather. I probably won't know for sure to the morning of each day. We usually are back by 6 or 7 unless we eat dinner out on the trail some where. Would be nice to eat at Buffalo Head restaraunt in forestport one night.

To everyone going to the NY TY ride. Please be ready to ride each morning at 9:30 AM sharp. This does not mean driving your towing rig into the parking lot with your sled still on the trailer. This means READY TO RIDE, with a full tank of gas. If you don't have a full tank, get there a few minutes early and drive down to the gas station 1/4 mile south of the Adirondack lanes and fill up. A trail goes right to the Gas station. Thank you, See everyone soon.

:yam: :jump:

I love riding with BBW he is a good trail guide and on time ready to go. Never said that the 1ton was to slow to own,You have me mixed up with someone else, honk! I always said that they run better than everyone thinks!(2003) But yours and others were slower at that time against our vipers which was proven on the lake and vipers weren't setting the snowmobile world on fire but I loved how the viper handled. I did however buy your same exact sled because I liked yours the price was right with a expert x. I remember when we split up and haulic was playing with me as I was baLL*t ** OUT and at the time didn't no what a turbo could do he was playing with me at 110mpg, couldn't believe it as I was smiling across the lake.

Thanx boomer, hopefully going to get this sled to handle like my viper. My son won't let me ride my viper anymore and I miss the handling of the sled through the twisties. I will be there next year. Thanx for talking smack with me HONK! You guys be safe out there ok...?

I would love to join you guys but I just got back from a 920 miler in the Gaspe and I have to get caught up here at the office. Have fun. Be safe! Hopefully next year. :rocks: ;)!
