I'm looking for an oil change kit. I've found one on Partzilla for $60 but it didn't list the models specifically but says its 2 and 3 cylinder four strokes on the bottle. Just to be sure I hopped over to and ebay listing for the same product and it doesn't list the 2008 Nytro in the compatible vehicles, in fact no 2008 models are listed, all start in 2009.
To my knowledge, nothing engine related was different on the 2008 to 2009 sleds, I should be good with that kit?
Additionally, I've got to change the track. Is it true that there's no separate chaincase oil to add, it uses the engine oil? I just come from Polaris 2 strokes where chaincase oil is sealed.

- 2009 Nytro XTX,OFT Relocator, Excell exhaust, Curve Skis, Excell wheels, Dupont Slides. Star Suspension. Hygear Billet rear shock and spring spacer. Air Box Mod. Clutch mods, Polished tunnel. Custom GPS mount. BOP Skid Plate. RSI handwarmers.
The oil change kit is correct. The chaincase does not use engine oil. It is the same sort of thing as your Polaris was.

All Nytros use the same filter. Chain case uses it own oil. Make sure you have a good skid plate under that sled. Read the thread "Not all Skid plates are created equal".

I'll have to see if it has one. Its got 7200 miles on it, picked it up on a whim last spring for $1500. Going to see if I like it before doing too much to it. But I say that and I've already ordered a skid relocate and rail extensions to make it a 136, but I already had the track so I have that excuse, it was cheaper to not buy another track

Im holding off on flex pipes (I'm 99% sure those leak) and a trail tank till next year.

odds are it is the dounuts leaking and if they are, it will cost you a lot more as if they are not in there, it destroys the pipes. i personally mangled a y pipe on a sled as it let it go too long.
