Well...I ain't overly worried about the company's health, and they have officially sold me on their product...and I'm not exactly a "Polaris faithful" since my last 3 sleds were Cat, Doo, and Yami in that order. So I might as well finish the cycle and get me a Poo...the '08 Dragon Switchback 700 has officially been ordered. So, for all you Yamaha cheerleaders: Attak for sale! :jump:

It's your money. Good luck, see ya back in a year or so after you have umteen trips to your dealer.

Maybe. Maybe not. I'll be open minded about this stuff 'till the day I die... Thanks for the well wishes! ;)!

Nothing wrong with open minded. Polaris would be my last choice though. Rememer I live in Minnesota where the Cats and Poo's are built. They are a dime a dozen too. I see WAY too many dissapointements in their crowd. Many of my good friends own them. To be honest, if I had to buy one of those two, it would be Cat. Yes I know their reliability isn't too good, but I like performance and they seem to hit that nail on the head much more than Poo does. My other favorite is actually Ski Doo. That's what I grew up with. If the new 800R is actually reliable, then I think they may have a home run considering it's lightness.

If you two have something to say, then do it via PM and not in this or any other thread. The topic is the 2008 Poo line-up, not internet racing your sleds against each other. Your posts are now being removed from this thread.

Hey Swiss! I agree with your decision but, it might make for a good second episode on Pinks!

You'll like that sled craze1cars. My best friend bought the Dragon this year coming off a 06' Apex E.R.. The Polaris 700 motor is very strong and from what little bit I rode it the Suspension with the Walker Evans shocks really soaked up the nasty stuff. My buddy has had a few different Polaris's and they hold up really well from My experience riding with him.(better than Cat and Doo IMO) My buddy is one of these guys that its WFO or cooling off on the side of the trail enjoying a cigarette. PM Me after you get some miles on it next year and tell Me how you like it. Good Luck.

craze your going to love that sled i drove a couple of them this winter they ride pretty close to the new nytro but they corner better.Polaris is still working on some mapping they can make more power but it won't pass imissions then. They are allowing two short track 800 to every dealer and that's it it's kind of a limited thing.

got my new amsnow today, the little dragon was running right with the 800's in both top end and time. In the powder sled comparo they said if it (dragon) woulod have been an 800 it would have been there pick instead of the 1000m. Another comment was how much fuel they use, is the 700 that bad on gas?
