Thinking of picking up a 2009 Apex GT with around 2700 miles on it. It looks like brand new with no apparent damage.

Little help. It's a long ways away and would like to make the deal over the phone with pictures and such...

What should I be asking? What should I know? What other pictures should I have them take?

Concerns or problems? Let them fly!

Thanks!

Dave

CYA if you're dealing like that. first i would do my best to see if you can get someone to actually go take a look at it. last time i went to buy something by pics it cost me almost $500 in fuel and tolls to go see a race car that looked like it had been welded with a paint ball gun, needless to say i came back empty handed...never again.

I have made several sucessful deals like this on a much larger scale, so I'm ok with the distance. If it comes down to it, I'll fly there, check it out, if all good, make a deposit, then drive back and get it! 4 hours by car, only 1 1/2 by plane. (Brother's a pilot).

Looking for sled advice, not buyers advice. Thanks for looking out for me though!

My buddy just switched from Doo to Yamaha! He bought an 09 Apex GT off e-Bay for $7000.00 that had 3000 miles in mint condition. He only drove 2.5 hours but he bought without looking at it live, The pics were great and the seller had an excellent rating. He simply asked if it had any problems and when any maintenance was performed. Luckily no issues and he absolutely loves the sled. Runs just a tad bit behind mine but he has no mods. With the mileage you are talking about and if it is clean and was well maintained, you are most likely looking at a great sled with many years of enjoyment! ;)!

Does it come with any YES warranty? How are the carbides and studs. Any extras ( saddlebags, covers, marginal wheel kit, etc.)

The 09 apex GT is s great sled.
