Apex vs 800 Etec

800 ETEC whatever.... I blaze them on my mountain max through powder everyday of the week, I mean seriously my mountain Max is far from stock, but those Rev's are nothing but Re-built Grenades.

I still havent seen a ski-doo in my area, make it to 10,000km with out a rebuild. Alot of Yamaha's did though!!!!

I think I want to become a Ski-doo mechanic so I can make a living and put my kids through collage re-building these things. I like the XP Chasis, I hate the engine.

Its too bad they have problems(800 e tec's) if in fact they doo cause the sled has everything else.

your right, they do have everything else. like weak chassis and spindles that fold up if you look at them wrong. true story, my buddy used to carry around spare parts for his xp in a back back when riding. (mostly spindles) and change them out trailside. he worked on it so much in one season that he sold it and went back to his old rev 440x
just ditch the rear yammy skid and put in something else.

I dont care that much, its more about riding and having fun, a little smack talk is a given. Although I can never get anybody especially on a doo to race me???

I was going across a lake once around 120mph and came up on a doo that was doing about 100 and I slowed to see if he was a buddy of mine and he sort of sped up and I realized it wasn't him so I casually went back to 3/4 throttle and passed him and went on my merry way. Next stop up the trail a guy came in and saw my sled and was shocked how fast I was going and that he was WOT and he couldn't believe I could pull away like that, I didn't have the heart to tell him it was 3/4 and I didn't know we were racing LOL

Who in there right mind would want to race that weapon you have under your butt lol,supercharged and all,even if it was all stock,just the looks should scare the natives away he he!!!

When i ran my stock track and no extros I was bascially neck and neck with the 800 etecs (unstudded like me) It would almost always come down to the hole shot and whoever got the better one would win. And stock apexs on the lakes leave me behind.
