Took my nytro rtx for first hard ride of season with the boys today and on the groomed trails that were smooth to light chop it rode perfect. In the deep moguls and otherwise rough crap it kicked my butt all over the place. I'm not sure what to do with it. I had the shock all recharged before season and the rear is set at about medium. I weigh 250 and can't believe how bad it rode. All the guys I rode with were on ski doo xp chassis and were eating up the bumps with ease. Any help please?

My '09 rode really rough too. I weigh in at 200lbs. I ended up with the front fox shocks at 60 lbs. Front shock in the skid ..put the spring at all the way soft, and set the top and bottom adjustments at 5 clicks from soft...same with the back shock. Much better, but still a little rough.Next time I thaw it out I'm going to try all the way soft on both back shocks. The RTX has a ditch banging ride for sure but I sure like the landings on it.My buddys' skidoo has a plusher ride too. I don't think the RTX will ever ride as soft as the Skidoo .

The rtx just ride rougher. I had mine revalved and it still rides rough through the studders. I'm pretty soft on the settings too but that is a balancing act between soft ride and bottoming resistants on the bigger stuff. I'm still playing around with mine but don't think it will ever be good in studders. I weight about 230 ish with gear

My Rtx Se had an amazing rear suspension. Took some some info off if this site and it was awesome.
