Any ideas why my 2010 apex has uneven slider wear? Brand new slides and after 10 miles the right side is worn down to the line on the slider. The left side looks like new. Is this new factory open window track the problem?

Happened to me once, changed sliders an never happened again. I think it was a problem with the slider. I'd take it back to the stealer.

If it wore down in 10 miles I would be surprized if it was a bad slider, I would look for something rubbing. Were there scrape lines or signs of it melting? Is the wear in one spot or everywhere?

Thank-you to Ron at KNAPPS YAMAHA. He contacted yamaha about my problem and got me the fix. Yamaha told him to loosen all the suspension bolts and all the bolts that hold the rail, then put enough weight too sink the suspension half way down and retighten all the bolts. I guess this re-aligns the rail.
