Or maybe overfilled the tank? Had a buddy with same thing and when we checked the oil level in the tank it was about 1" over the full mark on the stick!
Drained it down to the proper level and no more oil leak!!!

Had the dealer change the oil in November. I checked that and the level looks good! Have 800 miles on this oil change. It left a mark on my garage floor about the side of a cereal bowl. It's leaking through the right rear skid plate hole. There is a drip there. I checked to see if maybe I hit a line when I installed the skid plate and all looks good.

If it is from the air box, what do I do about that?

Just picked her up from the dealer. There was a hose going to the airbox that was kinked. I guess there is a bulletin published by yamaha stating to be careful when changing the oil to make sure these tubes are installed and routed properly when servicing--especially when removing the air box. The dealer didn't charge me!
They felt it was their fault! Now that's a good dealer! Mistakes happen, I guess we're all human! I'll definitely be going back.

I got the same issue now. Wifes sled. It has 5000 miles on it. Leaking under the right ( oil tank side) side rear of the skid plate. No the oil hasn't been changed lately or filled too high. Matter of fact I was pleased that it hasn't used oil at all.
When you change the oil you don't take the air box off so I wonder what the OP meant?
I'm going to change the oil today and see if I can find anything in there.

I was at my cabin on Saturday and while getting ready to head back home I noticed oil on the snow under my venture. I had to add a full litre to bring it back to full (never leave home without spare oil) and had a big mess to clean up under the hood. It puked the litre of oil out into the airbox. It did not seem to loose any more on the way home.
When I got back home I cleaned it up really good, I also removed the air box to check the vent tube that connects to the bottom of the box and it was clear. I did notice a bunch of frozed milky oil/water mix coating the inside of the hose that runs through the the top of the airbox but I don't think that was the cause of the problem because that is where the oil came out from. The foam air filter was saturated and had to be washed out with gas.
I have not had a chance to test it since, but crossing my fingers that it will be ok.

I just finished changing the oil/filter and cleaning the screen under the oil tank. Checking all hoses and I even took a piece of broken mirror and tried to look inside between the motor and under cover area for leaks, etc. I saw nothing. Clean up there around the motor.
I took the windshield off as well and the whole Air box from the engine. All Looked good. I did had the same finding as you in the air box.. The oil in the crevices was milky brown. All hoses seemed good. I cleaned the screen etc. I also I made sure it warmed up on a 3 mile run after all the work and got the oil about mid way on the dip stick and will be putting about 100 miles on it tomorrow.
I thought I read water can get at some valves and cause it to puke into the air box. One thing is we have had record low temps and all this seemed to start when we were on the lake in powder. Lot's of powder riding these past 2 weeks. Thus water in the air box mixed with oil. And I swear the dipstick threads on the tank seem to have ice on them. As when I turned the dipstick in it made sounds like it had ice. Maybe some water got in the oil via intake air or air box hoses, etc and got in the oil further complicating things. Anyway it's had a good thaw in my shop and a good going over.
I will post by this Sunday And after the ride tomorrow I will let it set in the trailer like usual and see if any drains out by Saturday or Sunday. Keep you eyes turned.

Mine leaks at 18 below F
In January when it was super cold I had a couple drips
This past weekend super cold again.
Each day when I first started it, it dripped like mad, after it warmed up a bit the drips stopped.
Next morning, -18 F, same thing, next morning again
I figure its so cold the pressure is pushing it out a bit till things warm up
3rd morning the damned power steering went off for 50 miles again too
