I believe Yamaha bars are about 1-2" narror then the other OEM's. But, they seem narrow to me... Even my Apex is like that. Not sure why they do that. It takes alot more leverage and movement to turn them.

I think it might be to keep them from bending when u lay it over so the panels are out farther. Just my idea.

But i dont know why they would be on ur apex i can maybe see that on a sno x sled.

Coming off my REV and jumped on an Apex when they were first released in Spring of 05, was that the bars were narrower than a DOO. My wifes 2000 MXZ 600 is still a little wider...
