Got a 2 speed heelclicker kit coming and id like to achieve something before it comes. Id like to go from a 60 degree 3-3 on a white white spring to the same thing but 6-1 on my secondary. It wouldnt be the best fuel sipper out there but I would like to have the belt up higher and get rid of the horrible backshift after the holeshot. So heres my question. Is there a pictured diagram on how to change it from 3-3 to 6-1 or some detailed details on how to do it that I havent found?
the helix has 4 holes marked 0,3,6,9. the clutch sheave has 3 holes marked 1,2, and 3. any two combinations of numbers are added to give the degree of twist, eg. 3-3=6 or 60 degrees. 6-2=8 or 80 degrees.
