I haven't been on this site a lot this winter but was wondering how they compared after both were broke in Any one have some results? Thanks.
MadRussian got his 2011 apex XTX dialed in real good. he has a buddy with a 800 etec. the last time they went riding Russian laid the wood to him bad. they raced from a stop and from a roll. They raced on Hard pack and in deep snow. No matter where they raced the Apex XTX won.

Anything longer than 300' with any amount of hook up I win.
500' or less, soft snow, they win.
Apex walks away and keeps on walking in most all conditions. They have way longer legs.
I have a bone stock SE, one hole up on limiter, 90 % transfer , 96 trail studs.
It should not beat the E-tech but it does. [soundly] I have not even started to tune on My 2011 Apex yet as we were using it as a bench mark for tuning a buddys 800 R that I was destroying and my old SC RX 1.
It will only get better when I start with clutching and suspension adjustments.
Top speed is awesome as well. It is running within 1 km hr of my old Supercharged RX1 and Supercharged Apex up top in a 1/2 mile on ice.
