I am getting an intermittant code 42. Swapped the speed sensor with my other sled, same problem. Dealer cant "find" the problem. Any ideas? Any help much appreciated

The gear on the end of the drive shaft at the speed sensor en good and tight?
Drive shaft bearing, or a wire rubbed through further up the speed sensor?

Gear is on tight. Bearing is also good. Have not checked wire beyond connector. Will do so next. Do you know if this is direct to speedo or does it run thru ECU? Hate to think of cost if this is reason. Thanks
