About to pick up new sled and I can't decide on carbides and studs. I was thinking semi snow trackers or tuners with 6 inch carbides ???? I use mega bites but dealer is given me great deal on signature series stud don't know much about them ?? Stud pattern 3-2-3-2 is it enough I mostly trail ride but live on lake . Any feedback would be great . Like to get it done by the weekend sale at royal

3 , 2, 3 , 2 is enough.
Semi Trackers are great. Tuners with 6's likely are as well but I have not personally tried them.
Keep the track in spec for tension. Do not pile on brakes hard on ice and no studs over 1.325 .

Why not opt for a prestudded track? Eliminate the chance of a stud pullout or scratching your exhaust (read up on the clearance issues with the Recent Apexes).

I run Cobra heads 6" carbides on stock skis on my '11 Apex. i'm not studded. Great results.
