Hey guys, 2011 Nytro RTX with Mountain Tech 43+2 front arms and a scmitt bros sway bar. I have Fox X floats (with reservoirs) and and the stock shocks on the rear skid which all 4 have been revalved. 215 with all gear, and an aggressive rider
I am struggling to get this sled to ride right. I had the original setup dialed in pretty good and could ride the twisties pretty fast without feeling out of control. With this new setup, I actually find it very unstable, as my first ride out of the gate, I tipped it over just riding the snow shoulder on my neighborhood rode going like 10mph, ride tried to get some snow to the skid and boop, over. I had the floats set to 75 psi at that time, and I thought that was too much. I've tried 55 and that made the arms more parallel to the ground, but I'm getting a lot of ski lift. I have the angles on the suspension set as mountain tech advised, but I don't know where to go with the skid and front. Proaction chassis I've got figured out pretty well, but I'm lost here.
I did go 1 hole tighter on the front limiters, and I don't really have a lot of steering effort.
My struggle to get a direction on this came to a head yesterday when we were out riding and had to go across a shitty swamp trail. It was pretty rough and I actually got bucked off when I went over a pretty good dead head. Just threw the back up, tipping it to the right side, then grabbed spun clockwise and threw me off. I figure I was going 25ish, maybe 30. Obviously too fast for the suspension to react properly. Can anybody shed some like on this enigma for me? I've gone through a bunch of threads, but there's nothing quite like what I have. Please help.
