2011XTX Muffler different. How to gut this one?

Who has one they gutted?? Any pics.
I took it apart today to drill 2 half inch holes and I found it is totally different looking muffler.

So I stopped and didnt attempt to cut it open.

Any one have pics of where to cut and what it looks like inside?

might affect performance id be skeptical of this mod with the exup setup it has.

Some people will accept a possible est. 2 hp loss for a more performance oriented sound. I know this sounds goofy to the hp hounds, but I did it and I love the better sound than the stock silencer. I get the whole back pressure thing, but it just sounds better.
