Ok guys, I have Heard different things about the skies. Well I took my 2012, 2011, and my 2008 ski off the sleds and put them side by side. The top and bottom of the 2012 and 2011 are identical. The only difference is the bolt hole location for the ski bolt. It is moved ahead approx. 1.375" center to center, thus placing the carbide backwards for ski pressure.
Now I compared the 2008 to the 2012. When you line up the ski bolt holes they look so close you can't see the difference, thus carbide location the same, but I did notice the skag to be even further back by 1/8"on the 2008. Ok, now looking at the keel on the 2008 it is taller by 3/16" and narrower by approx. 3/16". The 2008 should sink further into the snow being narrower and taller keel. The 2012 is almost idental to the 2008 except for keel height and width. Hope this clears up all speculation.
