So i just picked up a '12 Nytro MTX 153 and ordered some goodies right away. (pipe, intake, sledwrap, relocator kit, steering clamps, etc.) Bought a Skinz Super Q Shorty Silencer in Black Ceramic but dont know if i can get away with putting the new pipe on with the sled only having 11 kms on it. Now i have heard of guys turbo'ing their nytros right off the hop and being okay but i want to make sure. I get some guys tell me wait for 500 kms to seat the seals and gaskets with proper back pressure from the stock exhaust.. and then i get some guys saying go ahead and pipe it now. Any thoughts or comments would be awesome!

Pipe it and run it. Have fun and never look back.

This seems to be the general consensus. The more i hear it the more i appreciate the awesomeness of the genesis 4 stroke! I appreciate the comment!HYFLYR said:Pipe it and run it. Have fun and never look back.

Like HYFLYR says - pipe it and run it...! If there is any difference in exhaust flow and exhaust back pressure, it is negligible and it will for sure not affect your break-in. Just swapping out the OEM silencer does not require any changes to the fuel map, which also means you will not gain very many horses...

Mine has no miles at all, Infact it has only run once at the dealership to make sure it ran. It now has studs, tuner skis, my own clutch kit, Skins tunnel dump pipe and is going to get wraped next week

It was a good day in the shop for me! Put the new Silencer on and almost as soon as i finished that the Purolator truck showed up and dropped off my sledwrap. Kept me busy for a good chunk of the day. Now i have a unique looking MTX with some serious BARK! And the snow is finally starting to fly here in Saskatchewan, Canada. What a great day!

hope the snow keeps coming, not like last year hey, have you got your relocator yet, any delays, I am needing to order a clutch kit for my 2010 mtx since it keeps hitting the limiter all the time. Oft hopefully can hook me up with all the stuff I need.

Scott at OFT Racing has a great clutch set-up for the Nytro. I bought it last year from him they flat out works.
