I have had it out 3 times now and am seeing water inside the guage cluster.
I had the same thing on my 06 Rage pretty much as soon as I got it. Sometimes water , sometimes frost.
It never seemed to affect anything on the Rage but I really don't think too much of it this time on a sled this pricey. Not that the rage was cheap either but I was kinda lazy.
Is it a concern and should I take it in for warranty or just ignore it?

I remember that happening to my Vector too, though not too severe.

I'd suggest disconnecting the gage and removing it from the sled and bring it inside for a few days, maybe even put it a sealed bag with rice to soak up the moisture inside the gage. Reinstall the gage and add a bead of silicone to the rubber boot for the connector. Make sure that boot is properly seated.

Can't hurt to give it a try.

The gage fogs up on my vector too on cold days. I assume it's from the humid (from melting snow) exhaust and/or exchanger heat coming up from below. It happens after you stop after a long ride.

My 07 rage gt has also done it dont seem to be a big deal,6k miles and no issue

Well, the moisture seems to have disapeared but my guages were going nuts.
The speedo is all over the place and i'm getting error codes.

It lasted half the day and then went back to normal...gotta see the dealer I guess

Pull out the backlight, run your hair dryer/heat gun in there for awhile, using nice dry electric heat. This will clear out the moisture, for awhile. It will return, learn to live with it. Same goes for the headlights.

Yamaha definitely has a problem with moisture in their guages. Both my sleds frost up when it's really cold, but it gradually goes away over a few days. You're correct, it shouldn't happen at all on sleds that cost this much. My crappy $20 timex doesn't even frost up. I've only have seen this happen on Yammis with the electronic guages.

Gone for a crap again.
Speedo went out and then I'm flashing codes 42 and 84 again.
TORs is freaking on me. Had to fool with the throttle to keep things engaged to get 60 miles back to the trailer.

Now I have 2 days of long weekend riding down the drain and have to take it to the dealer tues :o|

I have a 2011 rs venture with 500 miles now. I never have seen any moisture in the guage. I have not been on a trip longer then 120 miles nor haaave I riden in colder then -25 c temps yet.

We've never have moisture problems..But one thing that will or could agrevate it is if you store it in a trailer. It holds moisture and makes condisation one way or the other. Hot sun beating down on the cool inside. Hot inside and cool air at night, water from ice on floor, moisture from wood on floor, etc. My neighbor had a brand new Ski Doo 4 stroke and complained about same thing. We'll he stores it in a unvented trailer.
Put lot's of vents to help. Water could be dripping off ceiling right onto gauge pod the way you have it parked inside. Good luck.
