It seems the rear shock has lost its rebound. When you push the sled down it stays down, does not creep back up. Will stay up if you lift the rear and set it back down. Was told the reservoir on the rear shock need charged??? The shock with no spring in the rear of the ck144. Is this something that should be done once in a while? 5200 miles on the odometer?

Welcome to the xtx suspension. The only fix for that is a star suspension kit. I've put up with mine for 4 years and now have just added the star kit with there rebuild shocks. It now goes right to the top. Haven't had a chance to ride it. Do a search on here. Tons of info about this problem.

You can try and just rebuild the rear shocks, you might be ok.

mine does the same one fast warrior when it needs servicing. 1st time i had it serviced i think i might have had 10lb of pressure left in it. if it does not extend with the shock unhooked, it needs to be serviced. learned that the hard way when i pulled suspension the 1st time. i did mine the 1st time at about 4500km. i can tell i need to do it again this season at some point.

i do not have the start kit and like how mine rides.

Is that some thing you have done at your dealer ?

you can take to the dealer but they will most likely send them out and just charge you a fee for doing that if you search you will find shock rebuilders that you can ship them to yourself.

Robert the guy who sells the *STAR* kit to improve our skids friction also rebuilds and revalves shocks... if I remember correctly he is in Canada just south of Montreal... here is a link to help you find him and info on the *Star* kit: http://bfy.tw/9Ho6
