Just a shout out to to HyGear Suspension. I had all my shocks revalved and dual rate springs added to the front and center shocks, along with a clicker reservoir to my front skid shock. What a dramatic improvement to the ride quality of the sled. I didn't get into any really nasty stuff this weekend(first time out). But the smalls were unnoticeable and mediums were no problem for it. Gone was the stiffness that this rear skid used to have. A lot softer feel. I also added a 13mm sway bar, and no down side noticed. Their suspension package suits me perfectly and would highly recommend them.

Same thing here dual rate spring and a lot of suspension education with several phone calls made to them great customer service and a big help. Big difference in ride this year. Well worth the cash. I was considering selling my machine last year and now want to ride forever. Highly recommended for sure.

220 w/o gear. Still have my torsion on soft, and they send you the shocks set up to your weight as far as spring pressures for a base line.

i am betting a lot since he didn't reply when I asked. lol...went on hygear web page after reading this post and I say an add on the hygear page for the ski doo tnt that was the same set up as the OP has and it was like 675 or something, which is a lot but if it makes the apex ride like a 14k+ dollar sled should ride I may be willing to pay for it.

Let's be fair, I PM'd you, and everyone else that asked...I don't feel right publicly posting prices...!!

When you do the hygear up grade do you relocate the shock .does the rear suspension have any sag.
do you have a lot of spring tension on the center shock.

No, none of the shocks were relocated. The shocks come with Hygears recommended tension set for your weight. Just plug and play. As far as actual tension, I don't think, from what I remember, that there was all too much tension on the springs, but with the dual springs, they are longer on the shock so going off of factory specs is not possible. I did not check the sag, so I can't answer that, maybe I'll get her in the garage to check her out, in a day or two and repost.

Wasn't taking it as being nosey, just been on this site long enough to see some peoples attitudes, if you post a price of what you paid and for what, someone always seems to chime in with what they paid, or why there's was a better deal at a different company for a similar product, and you got ripped off by going to that business. Again if someone asks, I'll answer, just most likely going to be a PM. Just trying to avoid any unnecessary drama. I think you can understand...

I dont have an XTX but I have to say the Hygear spring was the best ride modification I have made. I ride with 5 other Apex's and two have the fatboy spring 1 is stock GT and other is Stock ER. My Hygear gives me a plush ride over the stutter bumps and doesnt bottom out like the stock spring on the woops. Even my friends with the fatboy springs that dont bottom out loved it when we traded sleds.
