- 2014 Yamaha Nytro XTX 1.75 Push Turbo
Nytro XTX 1.75 Push Turbo. Everything else is stock.
I ride in all different types of conditions. From lake racing, to some deep snow carving, to ditch banging and on/trail riding. I'm not pulling any big jumps but will occasionally look for some nice drops and roads/driveways to fly across.
I have read many threads about the aftermarket suspenions that are available. Just want to know everyones idea with what is available today for this model. What are some of the options that I have to reduce the weight? Most suspensions like KMOD and TS are primarly for the mountains and deep snow. Will the TS Mtntamer hold up in rough moguls for my long trail trips? I know ice age offers rails for the XTX 144, but does anyone offer the rest of the rear skid pieces to replace. I thought holtz would offer some lightweight rear skid arms but i didn't see any.
I've read on here or TY that the polaris pro skid can bolt right into the yamaha nytro. Would a 144 Polaris Skid bolt up to a Nytro XTX 144?? I'm sure minor adjustments would have to made, but is it fessible?

iam also looking for a good non-mountain sled also. only thing i have found so far is fast M10 W2 AIR skid with 144" rails (they told me its a tipped rail skid but, awaiting confrimation on that). the other option iam looking at is a shock upgrade, as i already have star kit, hygear spring spacers and a custom made float center shock.
ps...i talked to dave at timbersled about using their unit as an agressive trail skid, and he suggested not to use it for my particular application (nice to talk to an honest manufacturer)

The M10 W2 has a live (sliding) rear axle. I don't see how that would work if the rails were tipped up. I'd like to see it.
