What are you guys doing to stop darting? i though i saw somewhere someone likes the stock skis with snow trackers? i am planning to go to new curve skis but don't have the money for new skis yet.

Stock skis with 6" DoubleDowns or Slim Jims will get rid of any darting. Since you have an ltx and if you are studded you might want to go 8". I have a studded rtx and run the 6" DoubleDowns. Love em...

How bad is the push in corners? I had duallys a on my apex but they pushed really bad.

My 14 Viper LTX has no studs (yet) I immediately put 6" dually woody's runners on- I have no darting at all. Solid. The front goes where it is told except in deep soft snow. Love this sled!!

I find them to be far better than the standard duallys. Compare the difference of the two on woodys website. I find they do get a little harry in the corners on a fresh groomed trails but most anything does. On anything hard pack or set-up trails they rail. I ride aggressive and have no problems at all.

When I ran stock ski's last year. I used Woody's 6" dually's. Virtually zero darting.
Sled tracked very well. But did have a fair amount of push in the corners.
Floated like a submarine.

I am currently runny Curve ski's. Great ski's. I did have some darting with the 6" carbides.
I installed the 4" leading edge. Ski's track well. Corner great. Float real nice in the deep fluff.

I have Curve skis on my 2014 ltx, turns much better than stock, but does dart.Did the leading edge make much of a difference?

Shim your skis---easy and cheap. Mine does not dart but does some " following " when following certain ski types. I don't think this is avoidable in all situations.

Shimming works great. Most ski carbide combos on this chassis will wear the front of the carbide more due to the way it sits. Obviously you want to check ski alignment and suspension setup first. Shim the skis and you can run about any ski carbide combo without darting.

curves are the icing on the cake for this sled!!! 4" round bar if not studded. The LE will stop any darting but not needed

Alignment is good, I shimmed the skis two weeks ago, better but still follows other ski groves at times, I will put up with this to get the better steering from the curve skis.

What model curves are you using? and how do they do off trail? not looking for a mountain ski but not the stock submarines.

I first ran the Curve's with the stock 4" carbide. There was some darting but not that bad.
After the 4" carbides wore out in installed 6" carbide.

The sled darted more then I liked with the 6" carbides. Especially when they were new.
As they wore the darting was reduced but still more then I liked.

I installed the 4" leading edge and the skis track very well. Very minimal darting.
So yes the leading edged helped.

My ski's are toed out ~1/2-5/8 ".
