2014 viper reverse issue

Hi Guys

I have a 2014 viper. The last 2 times I rode I’ve had issues with the reverse activation. It seems fine at first but after riding for a few hours it will stop engaging. When I push the button nothing happens and can’t hear anything even trying to engage. If I let it sit for a while it will work again. Anyone have any ideas to what’s going on?
