Hi, I've been told that the Rip saw 2 track that comes on this sled calls for 96 studs?? Anyone have any issues with only putting on the 96 or should I do more? Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

I ran 96 on my apex w/ripsaw and no problems and that was 150 hp and more weight so i would say you are golden.

As underpowered as this sled is and the amount of push... 96 should be plenty. I know when I stud mine it will be 96. 2 per lug.

I think for safety factor 96 is fine. If your looking for hook up on the lake 144 is obviously the way you would go
I have the trail turbo , I was thinking of running 96 but I changed my mind, I'm going with 144

I am planning 96 for mine this year also...what about the pattern? 2 per section, but should some be outside the bogies? Or all varied in the middle? Thankx.
Just vary them so they are not in line with each other 3 and 4 stud patterns get trickier to space when all kept in the center but 2 is no problem

I like that. Nice comboStudded mine last season with 120 down the center. I have the trail turbo on my sled and it hooks up well almost everywhere. Still a little loose on ice on hard acceleration but good for stopping. The pattern is 2-3-2-3 and so on.

Exact same way I studded mine last year.
I actually had the Reps at Stud Boy advise me of that many, and that pattern, at the T.O. Sled Show when I asked.

48 double 24 single. You can use all singles but im told the doubles are better (stronger, more durable, less chance of pull through)for 120 studs how many double and how many single does that come out to?

How do you like that trail turbo. I have a 2016 LTX Le. I have till today to let them know if I want the trail turbo for 2400 bucks. I lose 2 years warranty though.

It's a good sled with decent power without the turbo, it's a monster with it. This is my first turbo'd sled but i wont ever go back to a N/A sled after riding this one! Well worth the money. Be prepared to do some clutching though, it will need it!How do you like that trail turbo. I have a 2016 LTX Le. I have till today to let them know if I want the trail turbo for 2400 bucks.
